It is 1680, it is the age of the pirate! Swashbuckling sea dogs litter the sea's looting and pillaging as they please, but as we all know, there is much more to piracy than that! The freedom of sailing the sea's, wind through your hair and the adventure, all of this excitement coming with the title pirate. However, the Marines rivals to the pirates seek to find these criminals, and send them all to Davy Jones Locker. Merchant ships sail with caution, as no one will come to your rescue in the middle of the big blue!

1.) If in a battle against another role player. NO GODMODING - A classic example, for instance, is auto-hitting (ex: Player 1 stabs his sword through Player 2's head, killing him). Another example, and a frequently seen one, is for players to ignore their opponent's move entirely, without making any counter, naturally.

2.) It is recommended using full sentences with punctuations.
If you don't, this may confuse or annoy your rp partner.

3.) Please do not do one-line posts every time. Use detail! Particularly in battles, seeing as description is a key for the opponent to understand your move.

4.) When creating your character, you must specifically name everything they possess, whether it's personality or weapons. Just writing 'He's nice towards others' is not good enough, because no one likes everyone. Be sure to be descriptive and put some thought into your character.

5.) When staging a battle to the death outside of an Rp (in-RP, you are responsible for keeping yourself out of trouble ^^), you MUST declare your intent to kill and immediately afterward offer your opponent a chance to leave. Also, when entering an RP with intent to kill, you must make your intent known and offer all other characters in the RP a chance to escape. If you make your intentions plain during the first post of a RP, you don't need to offer a way out later, because replying constitutes an agreement on their part.

6.) A character cannot be an expert in every aspect of anything; it is preferable if your character is at least poor in something.

7.) No spamming/trolling/flaming, you will first be warned by a kick, then banned.


A few things to remember,

You are a pirate, your best friend is your cutlass and your pistol. Your pistol is not a modern gun, you have one shot with it, this shot is not perfect, it can miss fire and it will not hit directly where you are aiming. Now you are not limited to one pistol, in fact you are encouraged to have more than one. If you want a foreign weapon, please explain how you came to possess such a weapon, and why you use the weapon. You can not start off as an infamous pirate, you can not have your own crew as soon as you join. You will have to commit crimes, and make a name for yourself in RP. Remember, what you do will effect how your character is treated, a pirate is not welcomed into just any town, so do not expect to be treated like you are. You are not super human, your wounds will infect if you do get them looked after, it will be your responsibility to find a doctor. You may include in your history encounters with the top 3 Pirate crews, The Black Hands, The Lost Love's and The Blessings, just ask the captain of said crew before hand.

Top 3 Pirates and Pirate Crews.

Number 1: Captain Black Hand.
Bounty: 10,000,000 coins.
Black Hand Crew: Sailing under the command of Captain Black Hand, run away slave. He is said to have incredible strength. It is also said that he alone killed his master and all of his hired men in an attempt to take over the ship. The Black Hand crew, given their name by the abnormal darkness of the Captain, compared with the other slaves. Discarding his slave name, but not knowing his real one he goes only as Black Hand. Starting off as small time crooks, the Black Hand Crew got their fame by launching attacks on highly populated towns, and with the Captains monstrous strength easily overcame many powerful foes. They have also eluded capture from the Marines for 10 years. Due to the amount of Black Hand's crimes he has been given the largest bounty to date, with 10,000,000 coins for his head. He has also been known to wield an anchor in combat. Black Hands most notable act was taking on an entire fleet of navy ships with his single ship, and destroying almost the entire collection of ships. His ship, known as 'The Kraken's Bane' is a massive slave ship, it has three levels of cannons, as well as additional cannons mounted on the back and front of the ship, it is known by the dark colour of its wood and the black sails it flies. His flag is a classic jolly roger, nothing is changed so it will not be mistaken. Black Hands actual age is unknown, but it is suspected he is in his late thirties. While Black Hand will take no one into his crew, he will take on other pirates under his wing. For these pirates it would mean protection by reputation.

Number 2: Captain Bonnie Diamond
Bounty: 7,500,000
Gud Viljas [God Wants] A ship stolen and owned by Bonnie Diamond also known as Jessica Blarney. This ship sailed many adventurous roads that were to be taken in a similar manner to some of the previous pirates in the world. None picked up upon this sequence until recently and even then she surprised the militia, by turning a new route. It is unknown where she'd be found among the sea, one of the biggest successions of the crew as a whole was the thievery of over 100,000,000 Denarius or small silver coins from many time frames and historic years of other pirates, another great feat was the collection of over 50,000 Antoninianus that of value of x2 amounts of Denarius. Though nothing has come up as to large questioning, due to the fact that these coins were to be brought up during the Roman Empire times. The ships bounty has been known to be almost as big as men could dream of 7,500,000 coins, though has never been captured. There have been rumored to be jewels and other different forms of great treasure hidden within this ship, though no one has ever been able to question any of the shipmates and actually get away with the information to make this rumor appear true or false, one man however managed away, but he came back without a tongue, thus no information was gained from this.

Number 3: Captain Lady Love
Bounty: 5,750,000
Lost Love Crew: Sailing under the command of Captain Lady Love, aka Winona Sanderson, a scorned woman. She is said to have unmatched wit, beauty, and shockingly grace and kindness. The Lost Love Crew got its name from Winona’s elder sister, Gwyneth, who recruited women who had been beaten, raped, abused, or were just sick of the opposite gender’s filthy ways and unmatched ability to get drunk. The Lost Love crew started as Winona and Gwyneth in their small rowboat. It quickly blossomed and women joined the crew quickly. Their main purpose is to take from the men what they have taken from their wonderful sex. They seduce their victims and loot them, usually drugging them. Winona considers killing both barbaric and unnecessary. Although they are the amazons of the sea, the Navy tends to focus on the more vicious crews rather than her seemingly harmless crew. Her ship is known as the “Broken Heart of the Sea”. Their ship sails, flagless. After her sister’s death she felt a flag was not necessary, after wrapping her sister in it and throwing her into the ocean, where she belonged. The Lost Love crew welcomes any women and on rare occasions, men. The Lost Love Crew also has ties to the Black Hand Crew. It is said that Winona once stole Captain Black Hand’s treasured rum.
